Six Sea Kings garner honors

Corona del Mar High, which earned a share of its first league

championship since 1994, had six boys soccer players recognized

All-Sea View League by the circuit’s coaches.

Senior Blake Dillion is joined on the first team by junior

teammates Danny Whitaker and Julien Cerutti. Dillion was a

second-team honoree as a junior.

Juniors Chris Ringstrom and Jeritt Thayer, as well as sophomore

Shane Collins, represent the Sea Kings on this year’s second team.

CdM (9-1-0 in league) made its first trip to the CIF Southern

Section Playoffs since 2000, falling in the Division II first round

to El Dorado to finish 16-6-5.

Laguna Beach junior Nick Kohlscrieber is the league’s Most

Valuable Player.
