has been named Regional Exporter of the Year for 2003 by the Small

Business Administration. He will be honored for his hard work and

success at an awards luncheon on May 14 in Riverside ... The Girl

Scouts recognized Doug Dodge of Huntington Beach as an outstanding

volunteer, who was recently elected to the nominating committee.

Among the array of positions Dodge has held are Girl Scout advisor,

volunteer trainer, board member and national delegate ... The Girl

Scouts also welcomed Mark Doran of Huntington Beach, to his new post

as treasurer ... Special recognitions in the Girl Scout group were

given to Alan Porter of Huntington Beach for helping the council

develop a Web site for the Girl Scout Cookie Program and to Bonnie

success of the cookie program ... Tenure pins were awarded for

lengthy Girl Scout memberships, to Karen Kisah of Huntington Beach

for 30 years of affiliation and to Linna Bernahard of Huntington

Beach for 35 years of affiliation ...
