NHBA hosts skills event

Children ages 7-14 may participate in the Pepsi Pitch, Hit and Run

competition May 4 at Bob Henry Park beginning at 11 a.m.

The City of Newport Beach and Newport Harbor Baseball Association

will host the event, which is a youth skills competition.

All players must be residents of Newport Beach or be NHBA members.

The event is free and winners of the competition will advance to

the regional competition with the finals being held at this year’s

Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Chicago in July.
