OCPAC announces dance season lineup

The Orange county Performing Arts Center has announced its 2003-04

International Dance season, which officials are touting as “one of

the finest programs to be enjoyed anywhere in the months ahead.”

The season will include the Kirov Ballet, the American Ballet

Theatre, the West Coast debut of the Hamburg Ballet, the Center debut

of Ballet Frankfurt, Nederlands Dans Theater I and the Royal Ballet.

Guess who is coming to the Orange County Performing Arts Center?

Need a clue? It’s Blue.

Blue’s Clues Live! -- Blue’s Birthday Party will be at the Center

for nine performances between June 25 and 29. The lovable blue dog,

star of the popular Nickelodeon preschool TV show, will take the

stage with the new host, Joe, for her big birthday bash.

The show will feature familiar songs and characters including best

buddy Magenta, neighbor Periwinkle, Tickety Tock, Slippery Soap, Mr.

Salt and Mrs. Pepper.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sunday for $16.50, $21.50 and

$29.50 at the Center box office, online at www.ocpac.org or by phone
