LAGUNA LIFE

How time goes, I remember the first time I met you. The whole world

seemed so big, round and wonderful. I wanted to run and scream. I

wanted to be free. And then you became my world and you still are

today.

Even when you weren’t around, I could count on you to be there.

Maybe not in person but always in spirit and sometimes that means

more. Sometimes I wonder what I would do without you.

Days in which I could cry, I stayed strong because of you. The

tears were there but after a while they just didn’t seem so important

because I knew I had you.

Through you, I learned to believe in the good fortune of life.

Sometimes I wish I could stop myself in those silly angry moments

when I get away from myself and what I believe in. And what is that

you may ask?

The simple things -- I believe in the white picket fence dream;

honesty; loyalty; family and friends. Yes, I believe in love.

I can look into your eyes and see forever. I know that you are my

chosen one. The one that I want to be with for the rest of my life,

through sickness and health.

I have always dreamed of the words “I do” and soon I will speak

them to you.

For on this day, (the 16th of May 2003 at half past five o’clock

in the evening) I will marry my best friend; the one I laugh with,

live for and love.
