MONDAY

* Park Avenue: Police arrested a 19-year-old under suspicion of

drunken driving after she hit a drainage ditch and rolled her 1989

GMC Jimmy over while driving uphill on Park Avenue at about 1 a.m.

The reporting party didn’t witness the accident, but called police

after seeing the car lying on its passenger side with the lights on

that she was “extremely intoxicated,” Sgt. Jason Kravetz said. “I

a grade.”

later about stolen tools, the officer returned to the inn and found

that the tools, and a truck, had been reported stolen.

GTE phone box and a street light, then drove off the road and dropped

was walking with the suspect in the 200 block. The victim’s group

visited with the friend and as the three walked away, she said the
