Ruth Daniell Johnson

Private services will be held for Ruth Daniell Johnson, a former

teacher at Newport Harbor and Costa Mesa high schools, who died

Sunday morning at a retirement community in Santa Barbara after a

long illness. She was 91. Mrs. Johnson is survived by husband of

nearly 55 years John W. Johnson; sons John R. Johnson, Norman Johnson

and Nelson Johnson; two grandchildren; sister Emily Wolverton; and

brothers Robert Daniell and Jack Daniell.
