FINAL MASTER PLAN FOR TEWINKLE PARK

The plan recommends converting the existing baseball/softball

complex into a four-field softball-only facility; putting in new

tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, a 20,000-square-foot

permanent skate park and a 10,000-square-foot community center; and

renovating the lake. The plan also proposes improvements to the

bridge and median on Junipero Drive.

WHAT HAPPENED

The Planning Commission continued the item to its next meeting.

Commissioner Bruce Garlich said he saw several changes in the master

plan and wasn’t comfortable making decisions on those items without

looking at more information. City staff recommended that the Planning

Commission approve the master plan.
