Jeannette F. York

Jeannette F. York of Laguna Beach died May 28 of natural causes.

She was 97.

Born in the Netherlands, she spent her childhood in the

FingerLakes region of Western New York State. She has been a resident

of Laguna Beach for the past 30 years.

She is survived by her daughters Jeannette Y. Merrilees of Laguna

Beach, Mary York Sanderson of Charlemont, Mass.; a son Edwin G. York

of Milford, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 21st at

the Laguna Presbyterian Church on Forest Avenue in Laguna Beach.

Interment will take place later this month at the family gravesite in

Newark, NY.
