Seaview Yankees roll in first round

The Seaview Yankees combined strong pitching with a potent offense to

defeat the Costa Mesa White Sox, 10-3, in a first-round game District

62 Tournament of Champions Minor A Division game Monday at Huntington

Valley Little League.

Tony Giovinetti started on the mound for the Yankees and struck

out seven in three innings. Matt Kibby and Brett Bryant each came on

in relief to complete the victory.

The Yankees’ hot hitting consisted of three singles by Cole

Fraser, Eric Sickle getting a double and single, Kibby and Nolan

Heyer each getting two singles and Jonathan Steele with a double.
