The Blitz is on, picking up an 8-1 victory

The Blitz opened up a 6-0 lead on the Stingrays and never let up in

posting an 8-1 victory in Campbell Division play at Coast 2 Coast

Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Ryan Moylan matched two goals with a pair of assists to lead a

Blitz offensive attack that saw Jacob Ibbotson score once with two

assists, Nick Somes and Ryan Humphrey each scored once with an assist

and Steven Sallack and Vincent Le each had a goal.

Jacob Rosser had 10 saves.

The Stingrays avoided a shutout when Connor Johnston scored in the

final period.

X-Men 6, Wings 3

Bryce King powered the X-Men with three goals and two assists.

Kevin Romano posted two goals and an assist and Brett Vanderham

scored once.

Travis Bertrand finished with 12 goals.

Ryan Voorhies scored all three goals for the Wings, two of which

came on assists from Will Shepherd.

Flames 5, Nightmares 0

Jonathan Hunt got the shutout on 19 saves for the Flames.

Dylan Zeglovitch led the Flames with two goals and an assist,

Nicole Truong scored twice and Jason Drechsel scored once.

Wolf Pack 3, Kings 1

Paul Studer scored all three Wolf Pack goals -- the final two

breaking a 1-1 tie.

Scott Webb and David Wellander each had an assist and David Mastro

recorded 10 saves.

Cameron Trentini scored off an Evan Johnson feed and Parker Ransom

had 12 saves to lead the Kings.
