Turner tames field

Ryan Turner claimed a cool $300 by topping a competitive pro field at

the HB Surf Series second event held at the south side of the Pier.

Following Turner in the standings were Danny Nichols, Timmy Reyes,

Brett Simpson, Mike Hoisington, Shawn Ward and Ryan Simmons.

The nine other division finishes were as follows:
