Steven Jon Dahlberg

Steven Jon Dahlberg of Laguna Beach died July 3. He was 56.

Mr. Dahlberg had exhibited his work annually in the Festival of

Arts since 1997. His work was also shown at the Orange County Museum,

Laguna Art Museum and the Beverly Hills Affaire in the Garden.

Mr. Dahlberg grew up in Woodland, Calif., and enlisted in the Army

in the 1960s, serving in Europe. After his discharge, he moved to San

Clemente, where he met his wife, Franky.

He liked to make ship models, cook, scuba dive and take

photographs. He was the owner of Dahlberg Richardson Graphic Design

and Photography in Laguna Beach.

Mr. Dahlberg is survived by his daughter Shaunna Nazemi, of Lake

Forest; grandchildren Steven, 9, Robert, 7, and Nicholas, 18 months;

a sister Tristine; a brother John; and his dog Bill.

A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Evangelical Free

Church, 468 Legion St. at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Donations in Mr.

Dahlberg’s name may be made to the Festival of Arts -- Artist’s Fund

and mailed to Dianne Reardon, Festival of Arts, 650 Laguna Canyon

Road, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.

Katherine C. Wade

Katherine C. Wade of Laguna Beach died June 27 in Laguna Woods.

She was 83.

Mrs. Wade worked as a government position classifier for more than

30 years.

She is survived by a son Robert of Laguna Beach; and three

grandchildren.

Boyd L. Jackson

Boyd L. Jackson of Laguna Beach died July 1 at Saddleback Memorial

Medical Center. He was 84.

Mr. Jackson was born in Idaho and served as a sergeant in the Army

in the Aleutian Islands and the Pacific Theater from 1941 to 1945.

He and his wife, Josephine, were longtime members of St. Catherine

of Siena Church and had lived in the city for 28 years.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife; sons Robert of Irvine and

William of Oak Park; brothers Bert, George, Kenneth, Luane and David;

and four grandchildren.
