BINKY PATROL
Started in Laguna Beach in 1996, the organization makes and
distributes homemade blankets to children 18 and under who are born
HIV positive, drug-addicted, infected with AIDS or other chronic or
terminal illnesses, physically abused, in foster care or experiencing

BLUE BELL FOUNDATION
FOR CATS
A cat sanctuary devoted to taking care of cats that have been
given up for adoption and then deemed “unadoptable” for various
reasons. Cats staying at the Blue Bell Foundation stay there for

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
OF LAGUNA BEACH
Aims to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from
diverse backgrounds, to realize their full potential to be
productive, responsible, caring and upstanding citizens. At 1085
Laguna Canyon Road, the staff meets Mondays at noon. Regular hours
are 1:30 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Summer and weekend hours
are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
THE CALIFORNIA CHOREOGRAPHERS DANCE FESTIVAL
Aims to present choreographic works to audiences free of charge in
nontraditional performance venues and challenges choreographers to
produce works that compel audiences to view and at times participate

THE CANYON CLUB
Holds Alcoholics Anonymous meetings on the hour from 6 a.m. to 10
p.m. daily with some Al-Anon meetings as well. Organizers aim to keep
the program simple and encourages participants to take the program
one day at a time. The club is at 20456 Laguna Canyon Road.
CHABAD OF LAGUNA JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER
Provides services on the weekends and runs a pre-school during the
week in Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente. All activities at

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS -- YOUTH SHELTER
Short-term program for at-risk teens. The goal of the
therapeutically-based program is to reunite teens with their
