Dawgs roll over on Roadrunners

Spencer Layman scored three goals and added a pair of assists to the

lead the way for the Roller Dogs in a 9-4 victory over the

Roadrunners in Patrick Division action at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey

Center in Huntington Beach.

Also, Chris Avalos, who scored twice and Shane Galaviz scored once

and had three assists, Jake Galaviz and Kevin Smit each had a goal

and an assist, and Andy Wissel scored once. Jeremy Cacal had 31

saves.

The Roller Dawgs took a 7-2 lead into the final period of play.

Gregory Martin paced the Roadrunners with three goals, Chris

Romero finished with a goal and an assist, and Michael Mowrey had an

assist.

Avalanche 8, Unknown 4

Blake Easton burned the nets for three goals and assisted another

for the Avalanche.

Paul Leigh scored twice and had an assist, Ryan Daily scored

twice, and Josh Roseberry had a goal and three assists.

Avalanche took a 6-1 lead after two quarters of play.

Tom Moore scored three of the Unknown’s four goals. Greg Weaver

also scored.
