Team Fire pulls away to 7-3 victory

Team Fire broke open a one-goal match by outscoring the Wings, 3-0,

in the third period en route to a 7-3 victory in Wales Division play

at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Robert Oliver and Brock Ane each scored two goals to lead the Team

Fire attack.

Single goals went to Shaun Black, Brett Shaver and Christian

Wildey.

Wildey also collected two assists, and Oliver and Shaver each had

one. Timothy Francis recorded 38 saves.

Sean Wing and Skyler Matas scored goals, and Kyle Betz had an

assist for the Wings. Rory Folsom had with 32 saves.

IN OTHER GAMES:

Spiders 8, Mighty Midgets 3

Blake Kelly posted three goals and assisted another to lead the

Spiders.

Jimmy Hocker scored twice with an assist, Matt Gattis scored two

goals, Joey Mahoney scored once and Eric Pace had two assists.

Ethan Berg had 38 saves.

Cody Franks, Kyle McGeary and Ian Livesay scored for the Mighty

Midgets and Kenny Hutchinson had 30 saves.

Kings 3, Vipers 2

Carsten Beith scored twice to lead a Kings’ attack that included a

goal and assist by Tyler Bales and an assist by David Daley.

Kelan Stuart recorded 35 saves.

Kevin Ewing and Drew Bertoni each scored and Matthew Duran

finished with 32 saves for the Vipers.
