America. He graduated this year from Corona del Mar High School and

will attend Cal Polytechnic University in September to study

electrical engineering ... Craig M. Smith, a Costa Mesa resident and

a student at the University of San Diego, was selected for motor

board, a national honor society that recognizes students for

outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership and service.

Smith will be a senior this fall. He is majoring in Spanish and

theology with a minor in Italian.
