The Friends of the Newport Beach Library will hold a used book

sale in the Friends Meeting Room at the Central Library, 1000 Avocado

members-only preview will be held Aug. 15 with hardcover books priced

at two for $1 and paperbacks at six for $1. All proceeds are donated
