Hawks blank Matrix, 8-0

Devan Chargualaf scored three goals and had an assist during a Hawks

attack that saw six different players score in an 8-0 blanking of the

Matrix in a Lemieux Division game at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey

Center in Huntington Beach.

Goals also went to Chad Ramsey, Chad Romers, Stephanie Martin,

Traves Smith and Tyler Dinley.

Michael Urbano picked up a pair of assists and Smith, Martin and

Niko Urbano each had one.

Goalies David Kirchner and Terry Dillon combined for 23 saves.

In other games:

Extreme 4, Blades 3

Steve Tess scored off a David Lachman feed to break a tie and send

Extreme to victory.

It was the second goal of the game for Tess who opened the

Extreme’s scoring with a first period goal.

Lachman posted consecutive goals over a stretch of the first and

second quarters and also had another assist.

Kyle Landon finished with a pair of assists and Aman Virk had 15

saves.

Ricky Olson led the Blades’ charge with two goals and an assist,

Harry Graves scored once and Casey Landel had an assist.

Ryan Turchi had 16 saves.

Avalanche 12, Kings 3

A six-goal first period got the Avalanche off and running as they

ran past the Kings.

Jesse Morrill scored his team’s first three goals and finished

with four, overall.

Morrill also had two assists.

James Dufour led all scorers with five goals and an assist and

Casey Adams scored twice with an assist.

Christopher Maurer added an assist.

Jeremy Cacal had 16 saves.

For the Kings, goals went to Ryan Schwabe, Andrew Casper and Derek

Belisle and Corey Ochoa had an assist.

Nicholas Ferreria finished with 13 saves.

Doesn’t Matter 5, Thunder 3

Andrew Delavan scored two goals and assisted another to lead

Doesn’t Matter, which scored four, first period goals and maintained

their lead throughout the match.

Weston Bales scored once with an assist, single goals went to Adam

Daley and Adam Stanford and Oliver Atcheson had two assists for

Doesn’t Matter.

Kenny Hutchinson had 34 saves.

Mike Gonzalez scored once and had an assist to pace the Thunder.

Blake Easton recorded 36 saves.
