terrorized at school and was hit with a rock on Sept. 18 in the 9200

block at 11:12 a.m. Friday.

* Bartlett Lane: A resident reported that someone he hardly knew

had borrowed his BMW about 12 hours ago and hadn’t returned it in the

16000 block at 2:24 a.m. Saturday.

* Beach Boulevard: A cab driver reported that he’d picked up two

passengers who couldn’t adequately explain where they wanted to go

and turned out to have no money in the 17000 block at 3:38 a.m.

* Benjamin Drive: A resident reported that three teenagers were

damaging a neighborhood tree in the 8400 block at 6:59 p.m. Saturday.

* Central Park: A man reported that a big tree branch almost fell

on him about a quarter of a mile from the Gothard Street parking lot

at 1:14 p.m. Friday.

* Coastview Lane: A resident reported that a neighbor’s wind

chimes were very loud and wondered what could be done about it in the

20000 block at 1:45 p.m. Friday.

* Continental Drive and Brookhurst Street: A woman reported that

four kids had harassed her after she had refused to buy alcohol for

them at 5:16 p.m. Friday.

* Delaware Street: A woman reported that someone she’d met two

weeks ago at a bar was trying to break into her house in the 2200

block at 11:04 p.m. Saturday.

* Demion Lane: A resident reported that a neighbor was playing

music so loud that it was shaking the walls in the 18000 block at

6:15 p.m. Saturday.

* Edinger Avenue: A single mother reported that her 17-year-old

son was threatening her in the 7200 block at 11:39 a.m. Saturday.

* El Arroyo Drive: A man reported that he believed someone had

broken into his house through the attic more than once in the 8400

block at 12:32 a.m. Friday.

* Elk Circle: A resident reported that a party was going on in the

neighborhood and people were vomiting in the street in the 7200 block

at 1:34 a.m. Saturday.

* Goldenwest Street: A man reported that he’d bought a leather

jacket from a vendor but later discovered the material wasn’t really

leather in the 15000 block at 7:11 p.m. Friday.

* Greer Park: A man reported that he’d heard rumors that a fight

was scheduled for 6 p.m. and said he thought officers should check it

out at 5:41 p.m. Friday.

* Hampton Lane: A man reported that five people now walking north

on Bolsa Chica Road had tipped over a security building in the 17000

block at 4:53 p.m. Saturday.

* Kenilworth Drive: It was reported that the chlorine level in a

resident’s tap water was too high in the 5200 block at 1:38 p.m.

* Lifeguard Tower 24: Lifeguards reported that a woman with no

shirt on and a man were passed out on the beach at 8:21 a.m.

* Main Street: A business owner reported that a group of men sit

outside the store all day heckling women and begging, scaring away

customers in the 100 block at 3:55 p.m. Saturday.

* Melbourne Drive: A resident reported a drug deal in progress in

the 6800 block at 6:15 p.m. Friday.

* Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard: It was reported that

road rage escalated into a three-on-one fight at 4:15 p.m. Saturday.

* Pacific Coast Highway: A group of “Arnold for Governor people”

were reportedly blocking the sidewalk and the door to the reporting

party’s business and refusing to move in the 300 block at 2:01 p.m.

* Queens Lane and Barton Drive: A resident reported that 10 young

men were fighting in an alley at 2:38 p.m. Friday.

* Royalist Drive: A woman reported hearing shots fired in the area

and that she’d found a bullet hole in her window last week in the

6200 block Friday.

* Saybrook Lane: An employee in the emergency room at Hoag

Hospital reported that a Huntington Beach resident said he was

assaulted, then said he was hurt in an industrial accident when told

the police would be called at 7:13 a.m. Saturday.

* Sidcup Lane: A resident reported that some 10-year-old

neighborhood kid had shot the reporting party’s child with a

slingshot in the 19000 block at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

* Viewpoint Lane: A resident reported loud talkers and loud

belchers at a nearby party in the 16000 block at 2:02 a.m. Saturday.

* Walnut Avenue: A resident reported that two surfboards, valued

at $900, were stolen from his basement in the 800 block at 12:33 p.m.

Friday.

* Warner Avenue and Gothard Street: It was reported that each

traffic light in the intersection was green and red at the same time

at 3:21 p.m. Saturday.

* Zeiden Lane and Slater Avenue: A resident reported that drivers

routinely exceed the school-zone speed limit and said he wanted

officers to patrol the area at 7:46 a.m. Friday.
