Corona del Mar exchanged vows at Community Church, Congregational in

Corona del Mar on July 12.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia and Gary Wescombe of Santa

Ana. The bride wore an ivory duchess silk and satin gown by Vera

Wang.

The maid of honor was Natalie Griswold. The bridesmaids were: Lisa

Hoshek, Joy Stephens, Melissa Powell, Jill Cooper, Brooke Smith,

Nicole Wescombe and Erica Melby.

The bridegroom is the son of Carol and Rich Hoppe of Corona del

Mar. The best man was Brooks Hoppe. The ushers were Jimmy Keane,

Peter Wall, John Hoppe, Warner Griswold, John Stephens, Brett Fowler

and Matt Foster.

The reception took place in the Clubhouse at Pelican Hill with 230

guest in attendance. The couple spent its honeymoon in the Tahitian

Islands, Bora Bora and Moorea. The two plan to live in Corona del

Mar.

The bride works at the Mission Hospital Foundation. The groom

works at Fremont General Corp.

Burch-Rudrud

Alison Burch of Los Altos, Calif. and Kevin Rudrud of Thousand

Oaks exchanged vows at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Long Beach on

Aug. 2.

The bride is the daughter of John Burch of Los Altos and Diane

Sixt of Temecula. The bride wore a white corseted princess strapless

dress by Jenny Packham.

The maid of honor was Veronica Stuzka. The bridesmaids were Kellie

Moore, Mandy Heagy, Kelly Myers, Anne-Elise Rudrud, Megan Sixt and

McKenzie Sixt.

The bridegroom is the son of Ron and Kathleen Rudrud of Thousand

Oaks. The best man was Patrick Erickson. The ushers were Mike

Mariani, Brendan Erickson, Brian Schelter and Brian Burch.

The reception took place at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long

Beach. The couple spent its honeymoon in Kauai.

The bride is a store planner for Quicksilver . The groom is

self-employed as a mortgage broker.
