TUESDAY
* Nyes Place and South Coast Highway: Police arrested a
44-year-old Laguna Beach resident on suspicion of driving while
intoxicated after he allegedly hit a parked SUV at 5:26 p.m.
* Canyon View Drive: A driver reported that a skateboarder ran
into his car in the 600 block at 1:10 p.m.
* Rim Rock Canyon and Temple Hills Drive: A resident reported that
a big beige Great Dane was loose with no owner in sight at 10:39 a.m.
* Irvine Cove Circle: A resident reported that a 12- to 15-inch
snake was near his home in Irvine Crest.
* Cress Street Beach: A man reported that he’d just gotten back
from his evening walk, where he saw two men having sex on the beach.
He asked officers to patrol the area more frequently.
* Alta Laguna Boulevard: A resident reported that she discovered a
box containing $3,000 worth of merchandise missing at 2:39 p.m. after
her house in the 2900 block was fumigated by a company in Garden
Grove.
* Broadway: A resident reported that a large cat was in the median
of the road in the 300 block at 6:44 a.m.
* Forest Avenue: Police arrested a 31-year-old Costa Mesa resident
on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after he allegedly hit a
fire hydrant with his white Porsche in the 200 block at 12:09 a.m.
MONDAY
* Three Arch Bay Beach: Police cited six juveniles for having a
keg of beer on the south end of the beach at 10:29 p.m.
* North Coast Highway: Police arrested a 34-year-old man on
suspicion being drunk in public after he was seen vomiting on the
porch of a coffee shop in the 100 block at 10:46 p.m.
SATURDAY
* South Coast Highway and Wesley Drive: Police arrested a
38-year-old Mission Viejo resident on suspicion of driving while
intoxicated and hit-and-run after she allegedly hit five parked cars
near the Montage Resort, then hit one more in front of Hotel Laguna
at 6:43 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: Police arrested a 53-year-old Fountain
Valley resident on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a
victim claimed the man lunged at him with a knife after an argument.
The victim ran away and called police, who found a knife on the
suspect and arrested him. The suspect said he was using the knife to
clean his fingernails.
* Noria Street: The fire department and paramedics responded to
the 1100 block after receiving a call that a car had fallen on its
driver as it was in the process of being towed at 9:03 p.m.
