The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection may include a salad, sandwich or hot entree. School lunches

are $2 each.

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Yoplait yogurt; or teriyaki beef

dippers with rice; baby carrots with ranch dip; Minute Maid 100%

fruit juice bar; and choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY

Non-student day except for three schools.* Managers special;

Paulie peas; fresh fruit; and choice of milk.

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad; or dog-gone chicken sandwich; fresh

broccoli with ranch dip; mixed fruit; animal crackers; and choice of

milk.

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad**; or pasta with marinara sauce and

meatballs; fresh baked whole grain roll; crisp green salad with ranch

dressing; fresh fruit salad; and choice of milk.

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad; or bean and cheese burrito; seasoned corn;

peaches; and choice of milk.

*There will be a non-student day on Nov. 19 except for Harbor

View, Newport Coast, and Newport elementary schools.

The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts (**peanut butter on selected days).
