Course. Deere received instruction on trouble-shooting, repair and

inspection of light armored vehicles that provide infantrymen with

the capability of performing offensive and defensive missions

Estradaayala, son of Juana and Victorino Estrada of Costa Mesa, a

2003 graduate of Estancia High School, recently completed 12 weeks of

basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego ... Michael

“Mike” Rocco of Costa Mesa, was selected for an internship by the

John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of the

Center’s Vilar Institute for Arts and Management. Rocco graduated

from UCLA... Kevin L. Shannon, a resident of Costa Mesa, has been

named Orange Coast College’s “Faculty Member of the Year” for

2003-2004. Shannon teaches “elementary algebra,” “intermediate

algebra” and “statistics for teaching.” OCC’s entire staff voted on

the selection.
