Breakers honor football season

The Laguna Beach High football program was honored at its 2003 team

banquet Sunday at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott.

Various team awards were handed out and the season was recalled

through a highlights tape.

In addition, head coach Dave Holland, who announced his retirement

effective after the Breakers played their final game on Nov. 14, was

honored for his long coaching career through photos.

He also was presented with a Laguna Beach High lettermen’s jacket.

“It was a great evening and a nice way to honor the kids for the

hard work they put in this season,” Holland said. “I was also honored

with what the team and boosters gave me.”
