A starter at left tackle, the senior also handled season-long

kicking chores for the Chargers. During Friday’s 21-0 CIF-Southern Section Division I quarterfinal loss to No. 1 Long Beach Poly,

Bronowicki had two punts travel more than 50 yards and booted a

51-yard field goal in the first half.

That kick, however, was wiped out when Edison took a roughing the

kicker penalty for a first down, which negated the three points.

Coach’s comments: “Dominik had a great year and a nice career here

at Edison,” Dave White said of the two-year starter at tackle, who

was the team kicker for three years. “He put 70% of his kickoffs into

the end zone during the season, which is a great average. He has a

real strong leg.”
