Amy Christine Brant of San Clemente and Douglas B. Piil of San

Clemente exchanged vows at Paradise Island in the Bahamas on Aug. 2.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Brant. She wore a

lovely white gown and veil. The matron of honor was Kathe Van Hoften.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Piil of Toronto,

Canada. Andrew Piil was the best man.

The reception took place in Paradise Island with 50 guests.

The couple plans to live in San Clemente. The bride works as a

second-grade teacher in the Capistrano Unified School District. The

groom is employed as a Fitness Center manager at the Ritz Carlton,

Laguna Niguel.

Tervamaki-Graham

Meri Tuuli Tervamaki of Helsinki, Finland and Drew Chandler Graham

of Newport Beach exchanged vows at Suomenlinna Church in Helsinki on

Aug. 16.

The bride is the daughter of Irja Tervamaki and Veikko Tervamaki

of Helsinki. She wore a white empire waist dress with a lace bodice

and had a bouquet with white lilies and roses.

The maid of honor was Ms. Heini Kekalainem.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Graham Jr. of

Newport Beach. The best man was Kevin Arcaris. The ushers were David

Graham and Petteri Tervamaki.

The reception took place at the Scandic Hotel, Kalastajatorppa

with 90 guests. The couple spent its honeymoon on Mauritius Island in

the Indian Ocean. A second reception is planned during the Christmas

holidays at the home of Albert Graham Jr.

The couple plans to live in Paris, France.
