Kristi Eddington and 10 from Allyson Stoltz.

Junior guard Imelda Pena led all scorers with 18 points followed

“We held them to 12 in the second half,” Newport Coach Jen

Thompson said. “We don’t have a lot of height this year, but in two

games we have done a tremendous job of boxing out.”

Whitfield had nine boards while Miller (seven), Victoria Swigart

(six), Eddington (five), April Slater (five) and Stoltz (five) also
