Soccer season is in full swing and our photographers are coming back

with great shots of the action. Photographers always look forward to

soccer game assignments, as the nature of the game produces dramatic

pictures.

The consistent and ever-constant pace of the game combined with

collisions between players makes for eye-catching photos that are

almost as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.

But, photographer Kent Treptow came back with an exceptional shot

of Corona del Mar High School player Julien Cerutti getting

impressive air as he headed the ball. While getting good photos of

soccer is relatively easy and almost a given, it is shots like this

that we strive to capture.
