Wings shut down Ice Dogs

Ryan Voorhies recorded 15 saves and the Wings went into the win

column again following a 3-0 shutout of the Ice Dogs in Campbell

Division action at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington

Beach.

Jake Grothjan had a goal and assist and Will Shepherd and

Stephanie Leung each scored once.

In other Campbell Division games:

Jr. Kings 3, Mighty Crows 0

The Jr. Kings used a stingy defense and David Clegg’s 14 saves to

shut out the Mighty Crows.

The Jr. Kings’ scoring consisted of goals by James Shramek, Lukas

Welinder and Luke Barrett.

Bruins 3, Roller Dogs 2

Cameron Platzman’s goal and assist led a Bruin attack that saw

Trevor Sabers and Ethan Higbee each score and Sean McDaniel each get

an assist.

Kevin Romano had 18 saves.

Trevor Murphy and Jacob Pope scored and Joseph Thielen had an

assist for the Roller Dogs.

Brett Vanderham had 19 saves.

Ducks 3, The Skulls 3

The teams traded single goals in each of the three periods of play

in a match that ended in a tie.

Coby Pekich and Brad Schlerf each scored once with an assist while

Paul Studer scored one goal and Sean Mastro had 15 saves for the Ducks.

Brandon Albertson, Alex Kowalski and Kevin Baumann all scored and

David Stone had 12 saves for The Skulls.
