Bruins post 5-2 victory

Sean McDaniel netted a match-best three goals to lead the Bruins in a

5-2 victory over the Skulls in a Campbell Division contest at Coast 2

Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Matthew Bennett scored once and had an assist for the winners and

Dylan Christiano scored once.

Ethan Higbee also had an assist.

Kevin Romano recorded 17 saves.

The Skulls’ scoring consisted of goals by Alexander McCabe and

Matthew Gane.

David Stone also had 17 saves.

Ice Dogs 5, Ducks 3

Toby Costa and Wyatt Colvard provided the Ice Dogs all the scoring

they would need in a two-goal victory over the Ducks.

Costa led all scorers with three goals and he also picked up an

assist.

Colvard scored twice and had two assists.

Jared Mohl scored twice for the Ducks, Paul Studer scored once and

Brad Schlerf and Andrew Staffieri each had an assist.
