The UC Irvine men’s basketball team takes to the road tonight to

begin the second half of its four-games-in-eight-days, Big West

Conference-opening flurry. The Anteaters meet Cal State Northridge at

7 in the Matadome.

The Anteaters (6-5) split their first two conference games at

home, beating Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Saturday and falling to Big

West favorite UC Santa Barbara Monday.

Northridge (5-5) is also at the break-even mark in conference

play, having won at Cal State Fullerton Saturday, then falling at UC

Riverside Monday.

UCI, 0-1 when playing an opponent on its home floor this season,

is paced by sophomore guards Mike Efevberha and Jeff Gloger, as well

as senior big men Adam Parada and Stanizlav Zuzak.

Efevberha tops UCI scorers at 13.5 ppg, followed by Parada (12.1),

Zuzak (11.9) and Gloger (10.7).

UCI has split with Northridge the last two seasons, including a

69-63 setback in the Matadome last year.
