Fastbreak runs past Jackrabbits

In a battle between Huntington Beach National Junior Basketball

rivals, South Huntington Beach Fastbreak defeated host North

Huntington Beach Jackrabbits, 21-11, in a girls’ basketball game at

Marina High.

Defense sparked Fastbreak, who benefited from strong performances

by its entire lineup.

Kelsea Hann led the Fastbreak with six points and eight rebounds.

Also making key contributions were Allison McCoy with four points,

five rebounds and three blocked shots, Jodi Hwang with four points,

four rebounds and a team-high six steals and Kaci Gomez with four

points, four rebounds and two steals.

Devyn Bisson added three points and three rebounds, Alexandra

Goodman had six rebounds, Kelsey Kennedy had two rebounds and three

steals and Paige Bisson matched two rebounds with a pair of steals.
