Huntington Dog Beach will need volunteers to clean the beach.

Free cleaning supplies and quarters for parking will be provided.

Huntington Dog Beach is along a stretch of the beach between

Goldenwest and Seapoint streets. Volunteers are advised to meet at a

white canopy near Tower 24. Cleanup will take place from 7:30 a.m.

The Bolsa Chica Land Trust conducts a free, two-hour walking tour

of the Bolsa Chica Mesa and Wetlands the third Sunday of every month.

Meet at 10 a.m. in the Ecological Reserve parking lot on Pacific

Coast Highway, 1.5 miles south of Warner Avenue, across from Bolsa

Chica State Beach. Wear comfortable shoes and binoculars are

Save Our Strays of Huntington Beach will sponsor a low-cost

microchip identification and dog licensing event at the Lake View

Park Clubhouse at 17451 Zeider Lane. Microchipping will be available

only to Huntington Beach residents and will cost $5. To be eligible,

dog owners must provide proof of residency and have a valid dog

The Huntington Beach

Chapter of the National Assn. of the Physically Handicapped

provides disabled children and adults the opportunity to make their

lives become more vital to the community through providing

informative newsletters four times a year from National Headquarters.

It meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at

Wycliffe Gardens at 18765 Florida St. Anyone interested in becoming

Pete’s authentic “Dance

for the Waves” luau includes a lei and shell greeting, Polynesian

buffet open bar, official tiki torch lighting ceremony, hula lessons,

Polynesian dance show. The luau is at Pete Mallory’s Surf City Sunset

The Clara Barton chapter

of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will

The Point-to-Point

chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild meets on the fourth

provides education in needle arts, particularly needlepoint, and is

The Pacific Coast Mothers

Club, a Huntington Beach-based organization that brings mothers

together for companionship and support in child rearing, is inviting

new members. Moms and their children, from newborns to 5-year-olds,
