Resident named as one of the top lawyers

Laguna resident Violet P. Woodhouse has been named a Southern

California Super Lawyer for 2004 by the publishers of Los Angeles

Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine.

Lawyers were asked to nominate the best of their peers based on

their first-hand knowledge of these lawyers. The top 3% were selected

by a 270-member panel. Those selected will be listed in the February

issue of Los Angeles Magazine and in a special publication, Southern

California Super Lawyers, a joint project of the publishers of Los

Angeles Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine.

Woodhouse has a family law and financial planning practice in

Newport Beach.

She is a former recipient of the National Leadership Award for her

dedication to the Republican Party, and has been honored with an

appointment to the National Republican Congressional Committee’s

Business Advisory Council.

Woodhouse is a trial attorney, public speaker, best-selling author

of “Divorce and Money: How To Make The Best Financial Decisions

During Divorce” and a media consultant.
