The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or

hot entree. School lunches are $2 each.

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Yoplait Fruit Yogurt or grilled cheese

sandwich, crisp green salad with ranch, raisins, frozen 100% fruit

juice bar and choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken nuggets, seasoned whole kernel

corn, choice of 100% fruit juice, graham crackers and choice of milk.

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or sloppy Joe, on a bun, baby carrots with

ranch dip, diced pears, choice of Sponge Bob Square Pants or Wild

Thornberry’s Milk.

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or two chicken taquitos, lettuce salsa and

cheese, fruit turnover and choice of milk.

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or Hamburger on a bun, potato wedges,

lettuce and pickles, applesauce and choice of milk.

MUNCHABLE SALADS

The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts. (*Peanut butter on selected days)

PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA

Papa John’s Pizza is served one day a week with vegetable, fruit

and milk at each school in place of the regular menu.

TUESDAY

Andersen, California, Eastbluff, Rea & Sonora.

WEDNESDAY

Mariner’s, Victoria and Wilson.

THURSDAY

Adams, Killybrooke, Newport Coast, Newport Heights and Pomona.

FRIDAY

Lincoln, Paularino, Whittier and Woodland.
