Jazz party kicks off Feb. 12

The fourth annual Newport Beach Jazz Party is scheduled for Feb.

12 through 15 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Tennis Club.

Joe Rothman, the Ken Peplowski Quintet, a tribute to Cannonball

and Coltrane with Jeff Clayton and Glen Cashman, and many more on

various venues throughout the hotel and tennis club.

Tickets are available: for individual performances, from $60 to

$65; or for the complete four-night, three-day event, from $270 to

$295.

OCC adds 55 spring classes

Orange Coast College has added 55 full-semester classes to its

2004 spring schedule. The classes are not listed in the college’s

printed schedule but are posted on OCC’s website.

Telephone registration is under way for the spring semester, which

will begin Feb. 2. Registration will continue through Feb. 6.

Registration appointments are available in OCC’s Admissions Office.

OCC’s spring schedule is posted on the Internet at

https://www.orangecoastcollege.com, and free printed copies are

available in the admissions office on campus.

The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30

p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. OCC’s spring enrollment fees
