The Huntington Beach Council on Aging and the Michael E. Rodgers

Seniors’ Center sponsor ongoing classes at the Center. Subjects

include creative writing, tai chi chuan, Spanish, tap dance and

bridge. Some classes are offered through Coastline Community College

The Point-To-Point Chapter of the

American Needlepoint Guild, meets the fourth Wednesday of each

month, except in July and December, at Rodgers Senior Center at 17th

Street and Orange Avenue. Hospitality is at 6:30 p.m. followed by the

general meeting at 7 p.m. The American Needlepoint Guild promotes

interest and participation in needle arts, particularly needlepoint,

and is open to all who share in the pleasure of needlework.
