Orange Coast College student Chase Wiles, son of Ron and Sunny Wiles

of Huntington Beach, embarked Jan. 16 on the S.S. Universe Explorer

from the port of Nassau, Bahamas as a participant in the Semester at

Sea program. The around-the-world voyage is administered by the

Institute for Shipboard Education and is scheduled to include stops

in Cuba, Brazil, South Africa, Tanzania, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong,

South Korea and Japan before stopping in Seattle on April 26 ...

Edison High School graduate Jenna-Lee Scott has transferred to

Humboldt State University in Arcata, Calif. She is double majoring in

environmental studies and journalism and mass communication ... Army

Private Dylan K. Fisher recently graduated from Basic Combat Training

and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He

is scheduled to be assigned to the 577th Engineer Battalion at Fort

Leonard Wood in February. Fisher is a 2003 graduate of Brethren

Christian High School and is the son of Dan and Karen Fisher.
