Abbe Rich is Orange Coast College’s new pastry chef. Rich runs the

college bakery, which is in the Student Center cafeteria. She has an

associates degree in culinary arts and a pair of certificates in

culinary arts and advanced culinary arts ... Navy Petty Officer 3rd

Class Stephen E. Rodriguez, a 2000 graduate of Estancia High School,

and his fellow sailors welcomed Maj. Gen. Graham Lamb aboard the

aircraft carrier Enterprise in the Arabian Gulf. Rodriguez’s ship

provides close air support to ground units in Iraq as part of the

Navy’s 5th Fleet ... Charles R. Cummins, Elyssa M. Fournier, Cara T.

Hoepner, Timothy K. Ogawa, Brittany A. Page, Pamela J. Svalstad,

Marcia L. Vasquez and Breeana T. Yee of Corona del Mar were named to

the Orange Coast College honors list for the fall semester of 2003.

The students were able to maintain a grade-point average of 3.75 to

4.0 ... Autumn Gresowski has joined the Costa Mesa law firm of

Albert, Weiland and Golden LLP as an associate. Her experience

includes handling sophisticated business litigation such as breach of

contract, misappropriation of trade secrets and patent infringement

... At the Manufactured Housing Educational Trust’s annual holiday

breakfast, Costa Mesa Vice Mayor Allan Mansoor won $250 and donated

it to the Sheepfold and Councilman Chris Steel split his winnings of

$250 with Save Our Youth and the Shalimar Learning Center ... Bridget

Q. Moloney of Balboa Island, a student in the school of communication

at Northwestern University, was named to the dean’s list for the fall

quarter of the 2003-04 academic year. She was able to maintain a

grade- point average between 3.75 and 4.0.
