Laguna girl to compete in pageant

Laguna’s Nicole Michele Barney has been selected to participate in

the Miss Pre-Teen Anaheim Pageant competition set for Feb. 22.

Nicole had submitted an application and interviewed with the

pageant’s coordinator. She will be competing for a share of $20,000

in scholarships, prizes and specialty gifts.

Nicole will compete against girls from 10 to 19 years old in

modeling routines, which will include casual and formal wear. She

will also be interviewed by a judging panel.

The winner of the competition will represent Anaheim and the

surrounding communities at the Cities of America National Competition

that will take place in Orlando, Fla.

Community businesses, organizations and individuals will assist

Nicole financially in participating in the pageant.
