THE DATE
MORNING
Yeah, right, like you’ve been up before noon on any Saturday in
the past year.
LUNCH
Lunch at Muldoon’s -- and two cups of coffee.
AFTERNOON
Nothing says “I love you” like a permanent work of art sketched
into human skin with a tiny, pulsating needle. Choose from various
designs, such as the heart with butterfly wings -- ready to take
flight, like your love. Or the heart with flames, denoting the
burning passion you feel for him in your soul. The heart with flames,
heart with a halo, heart with a music note, shamrock; take your pick.
If hearts aren’t your thing, there are various symbols -- the yin and
the yang, sun and moon -- to represent your everlasting bond.
DINNER
Head to the Gypsy Den at the Lab/Anti Mall for dinner and
scrumptious dessert. Careful of the apple cobbler a la mode -- it may
make you forget your sweetheart.
EVENING
Tap your feet to the music of the band Riff Raff, which will be
playing its signature brand of swing music Saturday night. The show
will run from 8:30 to 11 p.m.
NIGHT LIFE
After the den, head over to the Little Knight and join the early
crowd for shots of Jagermeister. The benefits of being there before
the midnight rush include getting your name on the chalkboard for
pool while there is still a reasonable wait time.
WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING
Head home to baby each other’s new tattoos. Lots of lotion and
tender loving care.
