Visit to council meeting is at hand

Hello Laguna, we have another beautiful day on hand today (Wednesday)

but boy is that ocean cold. Speaking of the ocean, it was extremely

disappointing last week when I paddled out near Blue Bird Beach to

find that the ocean was again polluted.

I love how they post the signs warning swimmers of the

contaminated conditions. Again the signs were placed out of sight,

high against the cliff.

I thought we agreed to post signs warning swimmers of conta-

minated conditions at the entrances leading to the beach as well as

on the beach. My mistake. It was only a suggestion and I’m suggesting

it again. I will have to make a rare appearance at a City Council

meeting. Topics will include ocean pollution and the infamous Laguna

Night.

In the good news department: bridge day is back on at the Pribram

house as the gracious Laguna Beach Police Department voided last

week’s shocking parking tickets. It should also be mentioned that

after a week of playing “bingo” they are extremely happy to have

their beloved bridge day back. Sorry Dad.

In other good news the bluff top at Agate has had less cigarette

butts and other garbage over the last two weeks. Thanks for keeping

our beaches and bluff tops clean.

It should also be noted that the Surfrider beach cleanup day was a

huge success.
