Registration time set for tennis event

Registration is being taken for the 2004 Junior Challenger Series

tennis tournament, which will begin Feb. 29.

Play will be held in six divisions at the following times:

GIRLS

10-and-under Division: noon to 2:30 p.m.

12-and-under Division: 2:30 to 5 p.m.

14-and-under Division: 2:30 to 5 p.m.

BOYS

10-and-under Division: noon to 2:30 p.m.

12-and-under Division: 2:30 to 5 p.m.

14-and-under Division: 2:30 to 5 p.m.

To register by mail, applicants should fill out a city of Laguna

Beach registration form and include division name and tournament

date. Fee is $25 per tournament and is payable to the city of Laguna

Beach Community Services Department.

The community services department is at 515 Forest Ave., 92651.

To obtain a tournament entry form, send an e-mail requesting

registration to allcourttennis@hotmail.com.

The city also will host a Spring Fling Round Robin Tennis

Tournament on March 14 at the Alta Laguna Tennis Courts.

The tournament will feature ladies and men’s doubles and mixed

doubles in divisions A, B and C.

The cost is $30 per event.
