A few bones to pick

It’s so sweet, I love looking at the waves from up above on the Agate

Street bluff top. It’s a perfect mixture of nature, cigarette butts,

two cigars and two piles of dog waste. I love it, it really makes me

happy that the bluff tops here in Laguna Beach can leave such an

everlasting impression on people.

Maybe together we can all pitch in and help preserve the beauty of

our town, its beaches and ocean. Please do your part in keeping it

clean.

In other news if it’s a good workout you’re looking for try Bikram

Yoga in North Laguna, it’s incredible. I love it, the perfect place

to sweat out your daily stress. Trust me though when I say it is more

difficult than you can ever imagine and well worth your time.

Afterward you can pop into Pacific Liquor and Deli and get a

chicken sandwich -- they’re awesome. Make sure you ask for LT, he has

a great CD out titled “Rise.” It has a great mixture of deep roots

with a little R&B;/ hip-hop feel to it.

What really caught my eye was that inside the CD sleeve was a

particular quote, “Be humble and good things will come to you.” I

firmly believe in that philosophy of life.

That is the voice of this column, the voice of community --

helping one another. I believe in dreams and I believe in the

goodness of people.

I just don’t get what is up with all these chained-off driveways?

I saw one section of the street by my house where someone actually

chained off a section of the street and placed a no-parking sign

where it was absolutely impossible to park. Am I missing something?

Are you so afraid of your precious driveway getting dirty? I mean

really, do you think cars would just be lining up to turn around in

your driveway? Get over it.

A big thumbs up to the Turkey clothing crew and Creative

Communications, both businesses founded by Laguna Beach High School

Alumni. The new generation.

Do your thing.

Peace.
