Rio Hondo outslugs OCC in win
Rio Hondo College scored six times in the second inning to take a
commanding lead and pounded out 16 hits on its way to a 15-3 victory
over host Orange Coast in a nonconference game shortened to five
innings Monday.
Third baseman Toni Porrazzo had the only run batted in for the
Pirates, who fell to 6-9 this season. OCC committed seven errors in
the game, leading to five unearned runs.
