CAPPELLA CANTORUM
Cappella Cantorum, the young adult choir of St. John Vianney
Chapel, is beginning its fifth year. The choir is open to students in
grades six to 12. It provides active faith participation for teens
during their high school years. Participation includes singing at
mass regularly and at special events. Rehearsals are from 11 a.m. to
1 p.m. Saturdays in the Chapel at 314 Marine Ave., Balboa Island.

FINDING ANSWERS
“Find Prayer Powered Answers to your Problems” is a 90-minute
workshop today led by Jeanette Smith for anyone who needs answers to
problems of any kind. Using the best-selling textbook, “Science and
Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy, Smith will
show how to pray, how to heal and how to approach challenges from a
spiritual perspective. Registration for the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. event
is $10 advance and $13 at the door at the Country Inn and Suites, 325

ENVIRONMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP
St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Newport is offering an
environmental scholarship fund for two students. The scholarships
will only be offered through Chapman University and UC Irvine.

A free “lectio divina” meditation group meeting is held at 7:10
