Charity getting more than chicken soup

Share Our Selves announced that the company that publishes the

“Chicken Soup for the Soul” series had chosen it as the honored

charity for its newest book, “Chicken Soup for the Bride’s Soul.”

The book follows all of the previous Chicken Soup titles in

presenting inspiring true-life stories.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book will support

the Costa Mesa-based charity, which has provided free services the

Orange County’s homeless, unemployed and working poor residents for

34 years. More than 450 volunteers provide most of the charity’s

services.
