* 2nd Street and Mermaid Street: A woman was reported yelling at

people at 5:53 p.m.

* Glenneyre Street: Two men were reported fighting in the street

in the 900 block at 1:17 p.m.

* Viejo Street: A resident reported jewelry was stolen in a

burglary over the weekend in the 200 block at 11:57 a.m.

SUNDAY

* Broadway: A diamond watch valued at $10,000 was reported stolen

by a transient after it fell off the owner’s wrist in the 300 block

at 9:33 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: Money was reported stolen from a register

in a restaurant in the 900 block at 7:47 a.m. Beer was also reported

stolen by the burglars, who reportedly entered the restaurant by

breaking a window above the door’s deadbolt

* South Coast Highway: Two transients were reported harassing

people for money in the 600 block at 3:20 p.m.

SATURDAY

* Bluebird Canyon Drive and Oriole Drive: People were reported

playing roller hockey on the tennis courts at 4:47 p.m.

* Canyon Acres Drive: A dog was reportedly bit by a squirrel in

the 500 block at 1:44 p.m.

* Cliff Drive: Costa Mesa police recovered a stolen vehicle in

Costa Mesa after it was reported stolen in the 800 block at 6:21 p.m.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion

of hit-and-run and driving under the influence in the 600 block at

8:48 p.m.

* South Coast Highway: Police received a report someone had

attempted to pick the locks at a business overnight in the 31600

block at 9:10 a.m.

FRIDAY

* Glenneyre Street: A man reported cash and a sports bag were

stolen out of his house overnight in the 2100 block at 10:18 a.m.

* La Mirada Street: A woman reported a man driving a white truck

with a white camper shell motioned for her son to approach the truck

in the 900 block at 4:28 p.m.

* North Coast Highway: A hotel manager reported $320 in

counterfeit $10 bills had been found in a cash register in the 200

block at 9:23 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A man was reported harassing people in

front of a restaurant in the 100 block at 8:52 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A woman reported her purse was stolen in

the 1100 block at 9:57 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A transient was reported harassing

customers in the 300 block at 7:42 p.m.

* Tyrol Drive: A fight was reported in the 3200 block at 11:14

p.m.
