Husband and wife Lagunans to chair ball

Steve and Susan Giusto of Laguna Beach have been named co-chairs of

the sixth annual Cattle Baron’s Ball. The event will benefit the

American Cancer Society, Orange County Region.

The Giustos will oversee the planning and event operations for the

western-style event. This year’s ball will be Oct. 23 at the Orange

County Fair and Exposition Center in Costa Mesa.

Steve Giusto is a CFO of Resources Connection, a global

accounting/finance, human resources and professional services firm in

Costa Mesa. Susan Giusto worked for 13 years in sales, marketing and

client relationship management for American Express. She left the

corporate world in June to spend more time with her 1-year-old son,

and awaits the birth of her second daughter in October.

Event organizers hope to raise $550,000, which will help fund

research grants, patient services and educational programs for Orange

County families.

Tickets to the Cattle Baron’s Ball start at $150 per person, $250
